For the last weeks I tried to make the perfect – plants only – pizza and tested a lot of cheese substitues. All of them failed. Finally … I had to come to the conclusion, that I just can´t emulate the cheesy part of a pizza and this is going to be a tomato pie instead. It´s a lousy pizza, but a great tomato pie.

The tomato pie is topped with one spoon of olive oil, two pinches of salt, two to three tomatoes thinly sliced,
plus black seeds freshly ground in a mill. You can enjoy this beauty after baking for 30 minutes on high heat.
