A classic piece of music that never gets old. At the time this record was released, my access to music was very limited. The world wide web didn’t exist yet, and there was no money to buy LP’s or even a record player. So I had to use what was available: the mainstream on radio or going to clubs. Yes, they did play dead can dance in the alternative clubs, that I was going to during my wild times. Since I was a young girl I got a free ride, free entrance and any amount of drinks I wanted. Which was consequently way too much clubbing, way too much alcohol and too much abuse. Maybe the party was a patch to cover up, that I was still excluded from what I was desiring the most: entrance to the world of music. It’s weirdly funny, how life works. Now, I can snatch a CD for one euro in the thrift shop, especially with music that was hype years ago. Because everybody is using streaming services on the internet and gets rid of their physical music collection. Seams like a good price point for me, so I am buying.

My favorite song on this album is Radharc, and I think that one day I am going to sing a cover version of that. One day I am going to make music. One day …
