Fine-grained salt is what you can traditionally buy in stores. But that form of salt has the tendency to clump together, if it gets damp. Therefor, manufacturers are adding chemicals to prevent clumping. Nobody needs that, just use additive-free salt with bigger particles – medium coarse grained.
