Do you have sensitive skin? Struggeling with a rash? It might be a good idea to check the ingredients of your laundry detergent. Most of the popular brands contain a lot of dye and perfume, which is considered to boost the sale of the product – of course. However, those additives might be causing irritation and if you want to be on the safe side, it would be better to choose a laundry detergent, that is free of dye and fragrance. Most of those brands are labeled “Free-and-clear”.
Want to know my personal opinion? I don´t need a laundry detergent in an alarming color and I´m fine without the overwhelming smell of artificial flowers.
